Planning Policy and Strategy Manager- Exclusive to Varnom Ross

Varnom Ross have been tasked exclusively with securing an Interim Planning Policy Manager for a Council based in Central England for an initial 6 month contract with the view to extend well beyond.

They require a highly experienced, driven, and motivated Interim to lead the Planning Strategy Team across the whole of the Council’s territory. Your core responsibility will be to manage the development of the Council’s various Plans and all other supporting strategic Policy documents involved in the process.

Furthermore, you will be responsible for the performance of the entire Planning Policy and Strategy Team and to work closely and effectively with the Development Management Teams to achieve the best vision and aims the authority has.

The LPA are prepared to be extremely flexible on working arrangements and would probably only require you to be in the office once a fortnight maximum.

The rate for the role is completely open for negotiation.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a busy and progressive LPA with a plethora of interesting and complex projects to be involved with.
