Planner / Senior Planner
Location: Chorley
Are you passionate about shaping the future of land development and delivering new communities? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where your expertise in planning can drive projects forward?
A well-established property investment and development company is looking for a Planner or Senior Planner to join their dynamic Land Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in identifying development opportunities, managing planning applications, and engaging with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and submitting planning applications for residential and mixed-use developments
- Identifying and assessing new land opportunities
- Liaising with local authorities, consultants, and other stakeholders
- Keeping up to date with planning policies and legislative changes
- Supporting the wider team in delivering development projects
Requirements:
- Experience in planning, ideally within residential or mixed-use development
- Strong knowledge of the UK planning system and policy framework
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- A proactive approach with strong problem-solving abilities
- RTPI qualification (or working towards it) is desirable
