The Company
The client, a renowned for its expertise in securing planning consents for complex and high-profile schemes, is looking for an experienced Senior Town Planner to join the team! This role offers the opportunity to lead and influence high-value, complex projects across multiple sectors, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
The Position as a Senior Town Planner
- Project Management: Lead on significant planning projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet client objectives and align with planning policy.
- Client Liaison: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering strategic advice and innovative solutions.
- Planning Applications: Oversee the preparation and submission of complex planning applications, including appeals and representations.
- Policy Analysis: Conduct thorough reviews of planning policies, identifying opportunities and risks for clients.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior team members and contribute to the growth and development of the team

Essential Criteria for the candidate as a Senior Town Planner
- RTPI accredited town planning degree or relevant.
- Previous relevant consultancy experience.
- MRTPI qualified.
- Strong knowledge of UK planning legislation and policy frameworks.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present effectively to clients and stakeholders.
