Associate Planning Consultant
Location: Ednburgh
Are you a driven and commercially minded planning professional looking for your next challenge? An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a dynamic and highly respected Town Planning consultancy practice at Associate level in their Edinburgh office.
About the Role
As an Associate Planning Consultant, you will:
- Manage a variety of projects across development sectors including energy, infrastructure, residential, retail, commercial, healthcare, tourism, and leisure.
- Handle planning applications, appeals, and development plan submissions.
- Prepare planning appraisals and carry out in-depth research.
- Play an active role in delivering strategic advice to clients with a commercial focus.
About You
You should have:
- An RTPI-accredited degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional post-qualification experience.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- A proactive and commercially focused approach.
Essential Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Problem-solving and negotiation expertise.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.
- A full driving license and access to a vehicle.
