Job Title: Planner / Senior Planner

Department: Planning (Manchester)

Reports To: Directors
Contract Duration: Permanent
Grade: Planner / Senior Level
Location: Manchester Office (Flexible working arrangements available)
Job Purpose:
To contribute to planning projects by assisting with document production, briefings, and managing smaller projects under supervision.

Key Accountabilities Business Development:

  • Build and maintain client relationships to generate new work opportunities.
  • Deliver profitable and high-quality project work.

Project Delivery and Compliance:

  • Assist in the execution of planning projects as directed.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet industry standards, regulations, and client requirements.
  • Adhere to company processes, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Manage time effectively within parameters set by the Project Leader.
  • Liaise with clients, Local Authorities, and consultants to support project goals.
  • Provide regular updates to Project Leaders through progress reporting.

Finance:

  • Complete work within agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Submit timesheets and personal expenses promptly, adhering to company KPIs.

Development and Learning:

  • Stay updated on industry knowledge and skills.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning for personal and organizational growth.
  • Collaborate with peers to share knowledge and expertise.

Teamwork:

  • Promote the company’s services and seek cross-selling opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to team success.
