Job Details
Are you an experienced and ambitious planning professional looking for an exciting opportunity to further your career? Our client, a leading property and planning consultancy, is seeking an Associate Town Planner or Associate Town Planning Director to join their dynamic team in Manchester.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage various planning activities.
- Oversee day-to-day project management, including planning, reviews, WiP/invoicing, and debt management.
- Ensure projects meet client requirements and deadlines, in accordance with the QA system.
- Maintain quality control of project outputs, including preparing project plans and fee agreements.
- Contribute to business development efforts, including work-winning and marketing initiatives.
- Manage and strengthen client relationships, supporting the Partner in client management.
- Confidently represent clients at public meetings in a professional manner.
- Produce high-quality professional reports.
- Manage immediate staff, including overseeing timesheets, holidays, CPD, and training.
- Supervise and guide the development of junior staff members.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technical knowledge and expertise in town planning.
- Maintain professional membership with the Royal Town Planning Institute.
- Engage in continuous professional development through training courses, internal CPD sessions, and broader reading.
