Planning Director - Bristol

Are you a highly experienced Chartered Planner with over 10 years of expertise, looking for a senior leadership role? We are currently working with a leading planning consultancy in Bristol who are seeking an ambitious and dynamic Planning Director to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage planning projects across various sectors, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
• Take a strategic role in business development, identifying opportunities and building client relationships to support growth.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance within the planning team, offering mentorship and direction to staff.
• Contribute to the development of the business plan and drive the overall strategy for the planning division.
• Oversee staff management, ensuring high performance, professional development, and a collaborative team environment.

Essential Requirements:

• A Chartered Planner (MRTPI) with a proven track record of delivering successful planning projects.
• At least 10 years of experience within the planning sector, with strong expertise in technical leadership and business development.
• Experience managing and developing a team, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Proven ability to contribute to and shape business strategy, as well as a strong focus on client relationships.
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to identify new business opportunities.
