Senior Town Planner
Sheffield
Penguin Recruitment is pleased to be supporting an established and respected multi-disciplinary consultancy in their hire of a talented and experienced Senior Town Planner to their Sheffield based team.
The company's clients extend the length and breadth of the country and fall into many different sectors such as national and regional house builders through to major household retailers, the public sector, and private individuals. The successful candidate will work on a broad range of projects from small to large scale across Residential, Commercial, Heritage, Retail, Equestrian, Town Centres and more, with a focus on Strategic Land and Planning.
Duties of the role:
- To manage small to medium scale projects across Residential, Commercial, Heritage, Retail, Town Centre and more.
- Provide advice to clients at all stages of the planning process.
- To support the Directors on large scale projects as required.
- To support junior team members as appropriate.
- Highlight and cultivate new business opportunities.
Candidate Requirements:
- RTPI accredited degree or equivalent qualification.
- MRTPI or in the process/eligible for submission.
- Demonstratable previous experience at Planner level +.
- Experience with Strategic Land.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
