Job Title: Town Planner
Location: Exeter
The Company:
Penguin Recruitment is delighted be supporting a leading property and planning consultancy who is seeking an ambitious Town Planner to join their dynamic team in Exeter.
Role Overview: As a Town Planner, you will be involved in a wide range of exciting planning projects across the South West. You will work on residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments, providing expert advice, drafting planning applications, and ensuring compliance with planning policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and submitting planning applications
- Conducting site assessments and planning appraisals
- Liaising with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders
- Advising on planning policies and regulations
- Assisting with public consultations and community engagement
- Contributing to the growth and success of the planning team
Key Requirements:
- Experience in Town Planning
- A relevant degree or qualification in Town Planning (RTPI accredited)
- Strong knowledge of planning policies and procedures
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A proactive attitude with a passion for planning and development
