About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and motivated Graduate Town Planner to join a growing planning consultancy based in Ipswich. The company is looking for an enthusiastic graduate to support a wide range of planning projects, working closely with senior team members to develop creative, sustainable, and effective solutions.

As a Graduate Town Planner, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of development projects, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use schemes. This is a fantastic chance to gain hands-on experience in both the public and private sectors, working with a range of stakeholders and contributing to the growth of the region.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of planning applications, supporting documentation, and reports
- Conduct site assessments and background research for planning applications
- Engage with local authorities and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
- Assist in the preparation of development strategies, planning policies, and planning statements
- Support the senior team in the delivery of planning projects from inception through to completion
- Keep up to date with local planning policy, national legislation, and current planning trends

Key Requirements:
- A degree in Town Planning or a related discipline (RTPI-accredited course preferred)
- Some relevant planning experience (e.g. internship, work placement) is desirable but not essential
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good organisational and time management abilities
- A proactive, self-motivated attitude with a keen interest in planning and development
- Full UK driving licence is preferred
