Job Details
Job Title: Senior and Principal Planners
Location: South West England
Salary: Competitive salary of £35,000 - £55,000+ (DOE).
My client, a respected consultancy, is seeking Senior and Principal Planners to join their Planning and EIA Team. This full-time, permanent role offers a hybrid working model, primarily from their Bristol office, and invites applications from the South West of England.
The firm specializes in planning and landscape services, focusing on the Energy, Renewables, and Minerals sectors, and supports high-profile organizations in delivering large-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as Lead for major projects in the energy sector and other significant planning applications.
- Deliver feasibility studies, planning applications, and environmental reviews.
- Engage with clients and environmental stakeholders.
- Provide expert advice on planning matters.
- Contribute to proposals and tenders while identifying opportunities for project benefits.
Person Specification:
- Degree or postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline, preferably in Town Planning or an environmental subject.
- Full RTPI membership (or working towards it).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous consultancy experience is advantageous.
- Comprehensive knowledge of current planning processes and legislation.
Salary and Benefits:
