My client, an independent Town Planning Consultancy who works extensively throughout the whole of Yorkshire as well as the northern region on a national basis, is looking for a Graduate Town Planner to join the team. hey work on exciting projects across the UK and specialise in Residential, Retail, Commercial, Industrial, Infrastructure, Renewables and Mixed-use sectors.
This role is a great opportunity for the successful Graduate Town Planner to gain valuable experience from sector-leading professionals and progress in their careers.

The Position of a Graduate Town Planner
- Assist in preparing and reviewing planning applications and supporting documents.
- Conduct site assessments and research to inform planning proposals.
- Contribute to the preparation of planning reports, feasibility studies, and development briefs.
- Support senior planners in engaging with stakeholders, including local authorities, developers, and community groups.
- Participate in site visits and planning meetings.
- Stay updated with planning policies, regulations, and best practices.
Essential Criteria for the Graduate Town Planner
- Degree or higher in relevant subject with desire or chartered status with RTPI
- A highly motivated commercial approach, with the ability to work as part of and lead a team.
- Have strong research, analytical skills, and reporting skills.
- Be a proactive and professional individual.
