Job Details
Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a leading private property developer in London on the hire of an Assistant Development Manager.
Our client has a head office in North West London and their portfolio stretches through central London and the M25 corridor.
The successful Assistant Development Manager will be focussing on schemes in the Residential and Hotel markets, from inception to completion.
Your main duties will be:
- Development appraisals.
- Land buying and site acquisitions.
- Design development.
- Property sales and marketing.
- Handling all utilities connections for new projects.
- Managing building regs, CDM and planning apps.
- Oversee development budgets.
- Assess performance of portfolio to ensure profitability and value.
- Monitor and ensure all compliance.
- Working with the development team (architects, consultants, managers and construction team).
- Monthly site visits.
- Liaising with external planning consultants if needed.
Skills and experience required
- Proven development management experience.
- Estate Management degree or similar.
- Residential and Hotel scheme experience.
- Multi-sire experience.
- Passionate, highly motivated attitude.
- Strong IT skills.
- Ability to travel.
Salary / Benefits
In return for your commitment and hard work, you will be rewarded with a competitive starting salary (guide of £45,000 - £55,000pa) plus discretional bonus and more!
