My Local Authority client based in London is looking to secure an experienced Town Planning Policy Manager to join their Planning Policy Team for an initial 10-month contract, to cover Maternity Leave.
 
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a very busy local authority planning department.
 
Main Duties
Responsibility for 4 team members at present who are 2 Principal Officers & 2 Senior Officers
The Borough are at a critical stage at the preparing site allocation documents ready for public examination.
The councils is ideally looking for experience of taking a Policy team through examination and someone who can coordinate work with DM and the general day to day running of Planning Policy service.
Previous London Experience is preferable.
 
START DATE:  ASAP.
WORKING ARRANGEMENTS: 2 days per week to be in the borough, ideally on Mondays & Thursdays.
 
The council has good transport links in London.
