An exciting opportunity has presented itself for a Town Planner looking to move into the renewable energy sector!
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established company at the forefront of the renewable energy revolution, and to top it off, my client is offering a competitive starting salary as well as a generous accompanying benefits package which includes car allowance, private medical insurance, and flexible home/hybrid working options!
We are seeking applications from commercially aware, driven Planners who will join a close-knit, dynamic team securing new planning permissions for activities on existing sites and new development projects.
Job Description:
- Prepare planning applications for a range of developments on existing sites.
- Liaise, build relationships, and negotiate with all stakeholders connected with the planning process including Local Planning Authorities, Council Members and Statutory Consultees.
- Provide planning advice to internal stakeholders (e.g. site managers, commercial team, etc.) in relation to existing sites.
- Support the Company's Principal Planner in advising on planning aspects relating to proposed new development projects.
Candidate Requirements:
- RTPI accredited degree in Town Planning or an equivalent qualification.
- Some experience in waste or renewables ideal, but not essential.
- MRTPI or eligible for full chartership.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail when preparing and reviewing planning documentation.
