Senior Planner / Associate

Are you an existing Associate in a consultancy or multi-disciplinary environment who is looking to step up to an exciting new challenge which would allow you to build and run your own team with the support of a friendly yet globally renowned consultancy?

Our client is looking for an exceptional individual with a solid commercial background to move the Planning side of the business forward in the fast growing North East regions.

Based in either the Newcastle city centre offices, the successful candidate will have a minimum of 8 years’ experience (although most likely more) and must be able to demonstrate both exemplary technical skills and a history of negotiating and winning new contracts. Excellent communication and networking skills are a must as the role will require active business development from day one. As a result, strong knowledge of the North-East market is non-negotiable. Your area of Town Planning expertise however is flexible as our client works across all sectors. Residential, mixed use, commercial and infrastructure experience are all relevant but retail Planning experience could clinch the deal!

Experience of managing a staff member or small team would be advantageous but ultimately the desire and ability to lead and inspire a team and the drive to grow a business whilst progressing your career is what really matters. Salary is negotiable based upon experience and what a candidate can bring to the table, but be assured it will be very competitive with a bonus and benefits package to match.
