The company specialises in providing expert advice and services in urban planning, including planning applications, site appraisals, and development strategy. Their services are geared towards developers, landowners, and local authorities, offering expertise in navigating the complexities of the UK planning system. Their planning team has a wealth of experience in dealing with a variety and complex residential, commercial, retail, and urban regeneration development schemes. They are looking for a Graduate Town Planner with a RTPI accredited degree to join their office in Exeter!
Graduate Town Planner Role:
- As a Graduate Town Planner, you will be involved with site appraisals, feasibility studies, planning applications, and negotiations its local authorities.
- The Town Planning team work closely with clients to ensure that projects comply with regulatory requirements and maximise the potential for each site.
- You will utilise your expertise in local planning policies and strategic approach helps to secure successful outcomes.
- Further responsibilities include providing planning support and liaising with planning authorities on pre-application enquiries and full planning applications.
- be liaising with key professionals and preparing reports.
Requirements:
- MRTPI Accredited degree
- Strong communication skills in the form of report writing.
- Excellent critical and analytical thinking skills and enjoy problem solving.
- Commercially astute and process driven, with a focus on achieving results.
- Strong time management, organisational, interpersonal, and report writing skills.
- High level of self-motivation and ability to work well as part of a team to meet project
