Job Description:
As a Town Planning Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the planning team. Your contributions will help ensure the successful delivery of a range of urban development projects. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the preparation and submission of planning applications.
- Conducting research and analysis on planning policies, regulations, and guidelines.
- Preparing technical drawings, plans, and supporting documents.
- Liaising with local authorities, clients, and stakeholders.
- Attending site visits and contributing to project meetings.
- Maintaining and updating project records and databases.
Key Requirements:
- A degree or diploma in Town Planning, Urban Planning, Geography, or a related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant planning tools.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of UK planning legislation and procedures is preferred.
