The Company:
Penguin Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a growing client-side Town Planning firm in their search for an enthusiastic Junior Development Planner. This company are involved in a wide variety of sectors, including infrastructure, transport, and real estate. With land and projects all over the Northwest of England, they have gained a reputation for visionary regeneration projects. This is an exciting role in the heart of Manchester!
The Role:
The Planning team specialise in securing planning permissions, site appraisals, conducting feasibility studies, and ensuring compliance with regulations. You will be providing professional support in advising on and preparing planning submissions (policy, appraisals, applications etc). You will be working as part of the Planning Team in the Manchester office, with the support of the Senior members of the team.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' experience in Planning, in the public or private sector. As such, the candidate should have knowledge of planning, the land development process and associated legal, technical, political, market and economic influences. Further experience of development appraisals, master planning, planning applications/appeals and management of internal/external project teams, is preferred. It is important that the candidate has an RTPI accredited degree and be keen to pursue chartership!
Company Benefits:
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £25,000 - £35,000 depending on experience. Moreover, the company offer a selection of exciting benefits.
