Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be working with a national Property and Planning Consultancy on the hire of an Associate Town Planner to join their team in Manchester.
This is a particularly exciting time to become part of the team as they launch new growth and development initiatives. This role is a permanent position and offers a hybrid working arrangement, blending office and remote work.
The Manchester team works with a variety of clients on a true range of projects and so the incoming Associate Town Planner can expect to gain a wide range of experience in sectors such as residential, retail, commercial and renewables (but this isn't an exhaustive list!). In addition, the Associate Town Planner will get involved in supporting junior colleagues and can help drive the company forward through business development if skilled in this area.
Requirements:
- MRTPI status
- Commensurate experience at Principal or Associate level
- Strong project delivery experience (DM)
- Staff mentoring experience
- BD experience (beneficial)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to represent clients at public meetings
- Strong professional report writing skills
