Salary: Negotiable depending on skills and experience

An excellent opportunity has become available for a Town Planner to join a growning consultancy of planners and design specaialists in Leicestser. The team work to deliver expert advice and guidance to their clients on a wide range of planning and development issues.

To be considered for this role candidates will ideally:
  • Have a relevant BSc / MSc (or equivalent) RTPI accredited degree
  • Have Chartered Membership to the RTPI (or be working towards this)
  • Previous experience within a planning role (either private or public sector)


Duties:
  • Delivering major and minor developments across the UK in the residential, healthcare, commercial and energy sectors
  • Advising clients on submitting planning applications and appeals, site allocations, strategic planning and housing land supply
  • Undertaking planning appraisals
  • Advising on the development potential of land and buildings
  • Providing policy advice and research
  • Liaising with clients and local authorities
