An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Greater Cambridge Planning Enforcement Team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Enforcement Officer to investigate breaches of planning control and undertake the necessary action to ensure compliance with planning legislation.
You need to be a team player, self-motivated, an organised person and be calm under pressure. Duties will include assisting with the investigation of alleged breaches and offences, preparation of enforcement notices and files for prosecution, and attending court. There are opportunities to get involved in appeal work and related planning applications. Greater Cambridge has a number of listed buildings, conservation areas and a mixture of rural and urban areas so the work is varied and exciting.
