We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated, solutions-focussed Principal Development Officer committed to delivering excellent customer service and who wants to make a difference and further support the development of the services we offer.

Working in our Development Management Team, you will be responsible for managing enforcement activity in the and dealing with a range of planning applications within the Borough from complex major residential and industrial schemes through to smaller residential and commercial applications, including associated appeals.

You will have management responsibility and undertake case reviews and support the delivery of premium planning services such as pre-application support and planning performance agreements. You will be required to liaise with and present information to Councillors, senior managers and help drive service improvement.
