Are you a tenacious and ambitious Senior Town Planner looking for their next exciting opportunity? My client is a multi-disciplinary Consulting group, who are seeking applications from Senior Town Planners.
My client provides independent and wide-ranging planning advice across the UK. They offer comprehensive town planning and development consultancy services to both public & private sector clients, across all aspects of development management and plan/policy preparation.
Requirements for the successful candidate:
We are looking for an MRTPI qualified Town Planner, or someone eligible to actively work towards accreditation in the next few months. My client offers a mentoring programme and one specifically geared to RTPI Accreditation. Experience of development management led work and a strong understanding of local and national planning policy is important.
Duties included in the role:
As a Senior Planner you will gain experience on a range of projects and engage in a range of development plan, policy and development management work including planning appraisals, co-ordinating pre-application and planning applications, preparing local plan representations, site promotion and appeals. You will also be encouraged to expand your contacts and will have the opportunity to attend networking events.
