Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting one of the UK's leading property consultancies in Milton Keynes with the hire of a Town Planner.
The team are very settled and are mixed in terms of experience, they socialise regularly and have a good laugh whilst working hard! They are well recognised in the local area and work on some of the markets leading, most innovative projects.
As the largest property consultancy in Milton Keynes, our client works with funds, landowners and developers to deliver the deals that are shaping the region for the future. Milton Keynes is one of the UK's fastest growing locations and the planning team is essential to the growth of the local area, they work closely with the development team to ensure they are the go to consultancy for enhancing the area. It's a really exciting market to be working in and the planning work on offer in this role is really varied.
The Role
As a Town Planner in the Milton Keynes team, situated in recently refurbished agile headquarters, you will be working on a range of projects in the Residential, Commercial, Education and many other sectors. You will be:
- Providing commercial planning advice to a range of clients
- Proactively managing engagement with the local planning authority and other stakeholders
- Compiling robust evidence to support the planning case
- Preparing high quality planning submissions
- Representing the clients' commercial interests throughout the planning process
Requirements to apply
- Town Planning qualification or similar
- 2+ years of planning experience
- Good communicator
- Agile and hardworking
- Enthusiastic
- Driving licence
