We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and qualified (or near qualified) Planning Officer to come and join our friendly development management team and help us to shape and plan the future of the Borough. 

Working under the direction of the Team Leader, this role involves dealing with a caseload of minor and householder planning applications, including listed building consent, works to trees, applications for consent to display adverts, lawful development certificates and prior notifications.

You will need to be a qualified with Degree or an NVQ Level 6 in a planning-related professional/technical field and preferably have experience in a similar role or you may be a new graduate. Ideally, you would be a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (or eligible for Membership).
