To apply for this role you must have a sound understanding and practical knowledge of the UK planning system, including the Section 106 process and the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL).  You will have a strong track record in managing projects and processes and negotiating with a range of stakeholders.  You will be a confident communicator with good mathematical skills and excellent IT literacy, including the ability to use monitoring systems effectively.  Good organisation skills and self-motivation are essential for this role.

You will be part of a forward thinking Place-shaping and Economic Growth Service, leading the implementation and monitoring of CIL and S106 agreements.  This role will enable you to build strong relationships across the council, liaising with all contributors to the process and providing guidance and support to others.  You will take responsibility for leading on the spending of CIL, carrying out consultation with interested parties and seeking Elected Member approval.
