The post is an internship based within the Conservation & Heritage team. The successful candidate will support the functions and delivery of the team as well as receiving on the job training and mentorship. The post will also include day release to the MSc in Building Conservation and Adaptation at the University of Central Lancashire for which full financial assistance in respect of the course fees will be provided by the Council through the Southport Townscape Heritage Project.

You will be required to complete the course during the 2022/23 academic year. At the end of the fixed term, with the experience and qualifications achieved, you will be ready to embark on a career in the field of Conservation.
