SENIOR TOWN PLANNER | MRTPI CHARTERED
An exciting opportunity has presented itself for a Senior Town Planner to join a multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy in Manchester!
My client works across a range of exciting medium to large scale projects that cover all sectors, notably working across residential, commercial, industrial, retail, infrastructure, education, and leisure sectors as well as work in the public sector.
The team provides planning and development advice to clients across the UK and provide commercially focused advice that reflects their detailed understanding of planning policy, practice, and legislative frameworks. As part of this dynamic Planning team the successful candidate will work with them congruently to offer clients the following services:
- Site appraisals.
- Pre application advice.
- Planning applications.
- Sector 106 advice and negotiation.
- Public consultation.
- Statements of community involvement.
- Design & access statements.
- Planning appeals.
- Expert witness.
- Development plan representation.
- EIA co-ordination.
Candidate Requirements
- RTPI accredited Degree in Town Planning or relevant field of study.
- Full MRTPI Chartership.
- 2+ years post chartership experience.
- Ability to manage a varied workload.
- Detailed understanding of planning policy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
