Winchester City Council has an exciting career opportunity within its Planning Department to ensure our service remains high quality and efficient. We are seeking an enthusiastic Officer to help shape our charming historic towns, villages, countryside and the South Downs National Park. 

The role of Planning Officer is an ideal opportunity for a trainee planner with a keen interest in the built and rural environments to start a career in planning. You will have some office experience, preferably in planning, and have an understanding of the planning process.
