As a Principal Planning Officer in Development Management you will play a leading role in determining the Council's major planning applications and helping to meet our objectives of encouraging sustainable and well-designed development within Cheshire East.
We are looking for a professional team player with the skills and experience to successfully manage major planning applications and to mentor planning officers within your team. You will be confident and experienced in negotiating with developers at pre-application stage, presenting to Planning Committee and defending cases at Appeal. Excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
