Job Details
Job Title: Town Planner- Associate Director
Location: Various UK locations including Bristol, Birmingham, London, and Newcastle
Salary: Competitive
My client is a multidisciplinary environmental and engineering company who include one of the UK's largest development planning practices, with in-house master planners, landscape architects, highway engineers and environmental specialists. They provide a range of town planning services to public and private sector clients with an ever-expanding portfolio of projects centered on major urban extensions and garden communities comprising tens of thousands of new homes.
This role presents itself to make a difference at a strategic scale working with nationally recognized clients as well as a portfolio of major housebuilders.
Qualifications:
- You will be qualified to degree level in Town Planning and will be a full member of the RTPI
- You will have significant experience with a substantial part of that spent in the UK private consultancy environment
- You will be technically confident and persuasive with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- You will have experience in managing or directing complex planning applications and managing multi-disciplinary project teams
- You will have the ambition and ability to grow the planning team
- You will have a full UK driver's license
