Job Title: Senior Planner
Location: London
Salary: Competitive
My client is looking for an excellent Town Planner to join their ever-growing team. They are an independent planning and development consultancy working on a wide range of sectors across different consenting regimes. They have an excellent reputation for providing advice which adds value for clients, particularly on larger or more complex projects. Their workload involves large scale regeneration projects, major infrastructure, logistics, commercial, strategic land promotion, and housing development. They have a consultancy who work within planning, development economics, socio economics and environmental planning.
Qualifications:
- Degree or higher in relevant subject, MRTPI/APC
- RTPI Accreditation or working towards it
- Experience of medium and large-scale projects ideally on mixed-use regeneration, housing and logistics projects.
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- A good understanding of UK planning law
- Positive, hard-working attitude
- Able to demonstrate a professional manner both internally and externally
Key role responsibilities:
- Supporting the team in the delivery of a variety of planning projects
- Take an active role in supporting senior colleagues to manage planning applications and deliver planning advice to clients
- Manage and build relationships with new and existing clients
- Provide concise, accurate, evidenced, and timely research
- Review and interpret relevant legislation
