At Sport England, we are working to help everyone regardless of age, background, or level of ability to feel able to engage in sport and physical activity.
There is now an exciting opportunity to join our award-winning in-house Town Planning Team that is passionate about ensuring all communities have access to high quality spaces and places to be physically active – creating Active Environments.
We have three positions available in a newly created team looking for people who have great customer services skills, a collaborative approach to teamwork, along with your existing administrative skills. Day to day, you will provide a range of technical and administrative assistance to our network of Chartered Town Planners to support the effective delivery of the Town Planning Team programme of work.
Experience in a town planning team is welcomed but not essential for this role, as full and comprehensive training will be provided. Most importantly we are looking for people with the right abilities and skills to join our team (full information is provided on our website).
Our 10-year strategy, Uniting the Movement, sets out a bold vision to transform lives and communities through sport and physical activity. Join us, and you’ll be part of an ambitious and inclusive team that offers a unique opportunity to use and develop your skills and expertise in the areas of town planning, sport, and physical activity.
Sport England recognises the positive value of diversity, promotes equality and challenges discrimination. We welcome and encourage job applications from people of all backgrounds, particularly where we are under-represented, currently, this includes disabled people and those from Black, Asian and minority ethnic groups.
