Based at Ty Dewi Sant, Ewloe with Agile Working

We are looking for a Team Leader in Development Management to come and continue the good work we undertake as a Local Authority to lead and manage an incredibly dedicated and successful team of Planners and Planning Enforcement Officers.  Working in conjunction with another Team Leader you will provide resilience and a unified approach quickly becoming an important and highly valued member of our management team. 

There is a wide variety of interesting and challenging work to rival the scope of any other Local Planning Authority.  As well as managing a team, you will be given the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of projects, including taking the lead in handling some of our more complex planning applications and appeal casework and be involved in a broad range of planning and regeneration projects. 

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and ambitious person looking to further their career and join a highly motivated professional team committed to delivering quality development outcomes.  With good energy and drive, we will look to you for ideas to make our service better and provide support in taking our service forward. 

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable.  We will also support new and existing employees who wish to learn Welsh or improve/develop their Welsh language skills.
