Senior Town Planner
Penguin Recruitment is delighted to announce we are supporting one of the leading UK Planning and Development Consultancies in their search to recruit a Senior Town Planner to their Midlands based team!
My client uses a creative, dynamic and collaborative culture to provide expert planning advice to major developers and house-builders on challenging and prestigious projects. The team work on a number of existing schemes and have many exciting projects in the pipeline across residential, commercial, retail, leisure and education sectors.
As part of the Midlands Planning team, you will contribute to the delivery of significant projects involving strategic planning, development management, and planning project coordination for a range of high-profile clients.
We are seeking applications from candidates who are energetic and ambitious, and have a desire to grow and progress within the company. Candidate requirements include the following:
- RTPI accredited undergraduate or postgraduate qualification.
- MRTPI Chartership or eligible.
- Existing private or public sector planning experience, within policy advantageous.
- Commercial approach with the ability to apply your planning knowledge effectively within the wider property context.
- Excellent analytical and written skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Energetic and proactive approach with a willingness to learn and excel.
- Confident in client facing situations and in project managing schemes.
