Town Planner MRTPI
My client is a UK leading Engineering Consultancy with a dedicated multidisciplinary team of specialists in the built environment. This established team work on a variety of diverse projects, from medium to large scale infrastructure schemes, to residential and commercial developments, as well as projects within education, sport, and leisure.
The Role
The team are now looking to recruit an experienced Planner to join the team in providing all aspects of town planning advise to clients, including preparing development appraisals, development briefs, preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals, and reviewing existing permissions and conditions.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively to provide and support clients in planning strategies and studies, policy review and preparation, planning due diligence, provision of expert witness services, development plan monitoring and representation, formulation of planning policy, and public consultation.
Candidate Requirements
- Demonstratable previous experience in Town Planning role, private sector advantageous.
- RTPI accredited degree in Town Planning or related field of study.
- MRTPI Chartered or in pursuit of the APC.
- Knowledge of all stages of planning and development.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as and when required.
