We are looking for an enthusiastic and versatile planner who can help us handle a range of planning applications, appeals and other case work across North Somerset.

You would be part of a busy, team working on a variety of cases. The role involves balancing significant development pressures in a constrained area which includes Green Belt, AONB, extensive areas vulnerable to flooding and other sensitive environments.

Our challenges are wide ranging and as a result there will be plenty of opportunity to develop your experience and skills. You should hold a degree in Town and Country Planning or equivalent and be eligible for membership of the RTPI with a good understanding of the planning application and appeal process.

This is a career graded post and we can offer a range of other benefits including flexible working hours and a friendly and supportive team working in a beautiful part of the country. Starting salary will depend on the skills and experience of the successful candidate.

For an informal discussion, please contact Richard Kent on 07584 607 222 or Roger Willmot on 01934 426 190.
