  • Have experience of drafting and/or submitting planning applications and planning statements ideally for major developments.

This will be an exciting opportunity for someone keen to progress their career. The right candidate will work on varied projects in a great environment.

Your role will involve:

  • Research of existing and forthcoming planning policies and guidance.
  • Identification of planning constraints affecting a site.
  • Submission and proactive management of planning applications.

Salary is competitive £25-50k depending on experience. We also operate a new business bonus scheme.

Nicholas Taylor + Associates (NTA) were established in 2001. We are a specialised Town Planning consultancy offering a highly professional service to clients such as property developers, institutions and landowners.

We are a leading independent planning consultancy providing specialist advice on all aspects of town planning.

Everything that we do is centred on planning and we understand all the factors that should be relevant to a planning decision. Planning is more than just being policy compliant; it’s understanding the wider range of factors and applying them to reach the most favourable outcome in each and every case. Our aim is to provide consistent, expert advice in order to deliver enhanced value wherever possible.

We see planning from the client’s perspective and have a highly enthusiastic and entrepreneurial ethos, and understand the value of meaningful engagement with communities, stakeholders and decision makers. We provide our clients with realistic, viable planning solutions.

We deliberately do not specialise in any specific type of land use or parts of the country. With the head office in London, the majority of our work lies within the London Boroughs and Home Counties, but we work throughout the UK with both private and public sector clients.

We have a proven track record of successfully leading development proposals from inception through to on-site delivery. Our experience spans many sectors including residential, education, retail, leisure, and workplace. Projects range from unique small-scale infill schemes, to large scale major developments.

We are conscientious, diligent and work to provide honest commercial advice on how to achieve best value, and, if appropriate, where not to proceed. We are always prepared to take a view to help our clients make informed planning decisions.

In 2019, NT+A were shortlisted for the RTPI Small Planning Consultancy of the Year.
