My client is looking to source an experienced Planning Policy Specialist to work at Principal Level.
 
The role will involve/require:
·drafting policy
·research
·site assessment/analysis
·consultation
·engagement with stakeholders and landowners.
 
Engagement experience with stakeholders and landowners would be most helpful, in particular on infrastructure to support development in a local plan.
 
This role can be remote but might need to occasionally meet at the council offices, and for potential help during Reg 18 and 19 with Public Engagement - in person.
 
Inside IR35
37 hours per week
 
In terms of the hourly rate, they are open to good candidates being sent through at what they are looking for - current market we are achieving for our candidates for this role are between £50-60 per hour.
 
They will supply laptop and equipment as required.
 
Role is to start as soon as possible but 2 weeks is probably the lead time.
