Assistant Town Planner - Leeds
HA 9814
Salary: Negotiable depending on skills and experience
An excellent opportunity has become available for an Assistant Town Planner to join a UK leading planning consultancy as part of their Leeds based team. The successful Assistant Town Planner will be working alongside senior staff to help prepare and submit a variety of planning applications within the residential, mixed use and commercial sectors.
Qualifications:
In this instance applications are sought from candidates with a BSc and ideally an MSc (or equivalent) in an appropriate planning related discipline and membership to the RTPI.
Experience:
Ideally candidates will have some previous experience of preparing planning applications and appeals, undertaking site development appraisals and liaising with clients, land owners and developers.
Duties:
- Preparing planning appraisals for land and buildings
- Liaising with clients, planning officers and stakeholders
- Undertaking research
- Preparing and submitting applications
