Town Planner, Senior Planner, Associate Planner | London

Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a leading Property and Planning Consultancy in central London on the hire of three Town Planners at Town Planner, Senior Planner and Associate level.

Join a planning team that offers a range of services to clients and projects in a mix of sectors such as infrastructure and energy, residential, commercial, mixed-use, education and community, affordable housing viability and minerals and waste.

The company's work ranges from assisting with smaller applications, such as discharging planning conditions and changing the use of individual units, to larger applications such as large power stations and urban extensions

This company has over 35 years of history behind them, along with a large leadership team that is experienced, well connected and well versed in raising up Planners through the ranks.



Requirements

Planners are required to hold a suitable qualification and 2-3 years planning experience and MRTPI status or working towards it.

Senior Planners are required to hold a suitable qualification, MRTPI status and 4-5 years experience.

Associate Planners are required to hold a suitable qualification, MRTPI status and 5-7 years experience.

Experience can come from either the public or private sector. Though private sector is preferred, what is important is strong communication skills, a commercial mindset, a passion for planning and tenacity to see your projects over the line.
