Role: Full time, Permanent
Based: Colchester
Penguin Recruitment is looking to speak with experienced Senior Town Planners or established Associate Planners regarding a new role with an established Planning Consultancy in Colchester, Essex.
In this role, you will support a variety of clients such as estate owners, developers, NHS Trusts, Planning Authorities and a range of other businesses. Join this company and provide the following mix of services to your clients:
- Planning applications, development briefs and feasibility advice
- Development plan preparation and representation
- Planning appraisals and project management of major planning schemes
- Public enquiries including Examinations in Public and planning appeals
- Housing and employment land studies
- Coordination of Environmental Assessments
- Planning for heritage assets including listed buildings and development within Conservation Areas
- Commercial development, town centre and regeneration schemes
- Health care planning and impact assessment
Job requirements
Ideally candidates will have a degree (or equivalent) in a relevant planning discipline and be a Chartered Member of the RTPI, but candidates working towards this will also be considered. A minimum of 5 years town planning experience (within either the private or public sector) is essential for the role.
