I am working with an Authority in Essex who want to bring an interim Planning Officer on to the team to help them with the large influx on cases they've received recently.
They ideally would have someone start immediately but are willing to wait up to 4-5 weeks for the right candidate.
Duties will include:
Carrying out Site Visits.
Working on mainly Householder applications with the occasional Minor.
Candidate’s Required Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience within the Planning industry.
Experience working at a local authority.
RTPI membership beneficial.
Previous experience working on Householder and Minor applications.
Looking to pay between £35-40/h – Inside IR35.
You can work remotely or in the office at your own discretion.
Site visits to the district will be expected to be performed for a day on a fortnightly basis.
Access to a car would therefore, be helpful.
