Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting on of the UK's leading multi-skilled Planning Consultancies in their search to recruit a talented Town Planner to their Wokingham office!
The Company

This dynamic team work congruently to combine national experience with local knowledge in order to support every stage of the development process, including land acquisition, masterplanning, and environmental impact studies.
This collaborative approach provides an unrivalled level of support for a wide-ranging client base that includes major housebuilders, private developers, educational institutions, the NHS, local authorities and landowners. The company is also committed to the process of continual environmental performance improvement, making sure to have the lowest possible impact on the environment.
The role
You will work alongside an experienced team to help deliver significant projects involving strategic planning, development management planning, and planning project coordination for a range of private and public sector clients.
My client is committed to nurturing the best planning talent and the team are looking to recruit a planner with the following attributes:
- RTPI accredited degree in Town Planning or a related field of study.
- Demonstratable post-graduate planning experience desired.
- Some experience of working on residential and mixed-use developments advantageous.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and from own initiative.
- A strong teamwork ethic.
