Graduate to Assistant Town Planner

Our close client is a well-established town planning consultancy, and they are looking to onboard an Assistant Town Planner or Graduate Town Planner to join their successful planning team in Southampton. Our client has a fantastic range of experience providing expert advice to a range of clients in the public and private sectors, from landowners to major multinational companies.

Responsibilities will include:

• Preparing detailed planning policy statements
• Site visits and appraisals
• Attending client meetings
• Preparation and submission of planning applications

Ideally you will have the following:

• A RTPI accredited degree in town planning or related
• Actively working towards chartership (preferable)
• Ideally 1+ years experience in a Town Planning role (preferably private)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The salary for this role will be negotiable depending on level of experience
