Job Details
A busy local authority in Cumbria are looking for an experienced Principal DM Officer to assist with complex applications, including some larger-scale major applications, initially on a 6 month contract but with likely extensions until Spring 2023.
Reporting into the DM Manager, you will be required to pick up your own caseload, but may also be required to carry out a small number of managerial duties.
The ideal candidate will have experience at Principal level, but the authority are willing to consider a Senior DM officer who is keen to take on some extra responsibilities. The candidate will be required to make their way to the district once a fortnight.
The authority are willing to pay a daily rate of £350-£410/day.
Interviews are scheduled for later this week and early next, with a start date ASAP.
