TOWN PLANNER OPPORTUNITY!

Penguin recruitment are delighted to be supporting an established Planning consultancy whose Bristol based office is currently seeking a Town Planner to join their dynamic team!

This small but growing practice has an established reputation for providing sound and impartial planning advice, skilled presentation and negotiation skills and a track record for achieving successful planning outcomes for their clients.

There is an opportunity for the successful candidate to take on their own case load of projects as well as assisting the Director on major schemes. The company is currently working on a wide range of projects typically in the residential, industrial, commercial and leisure and retail sectors.

Duties of this role will include performing planning appraisals, preparing and submitting planning applications and S106 negotiations. The role will also include strategic site promotion and five-year land supply as well as preparing representations and co-ordinating external teams whilst maintaining client relationships!

Candidate requirements

• RTPI Chartered Planner or working towards it.
• RTPI accredited degree in Town Planning or a relevant field of study.
• Confident in client liaison and project management.
• Strong working knowledge of local, regional, and national planning legislation.
• Ability to manage a busy workload and work from own initiative.
