Job Details
The role is working for a desirable Local Authority in the Leicestershire area with flexible working conditions being a mixture of working from home with the occasional site visit,
- The role is on temporary basis for 4-6 months.
- Interviews to be held Friday 7th January 10am-1pm
- The specific responsibilities include:
- Leadership and management of all planning functions with specific focus on development management (planning applications process),
- Leading planning committees,
- Managing communication with members and external stakeholders,
- Supporting the director in implementing future long-term arrangements for leadership in this area,
- Managing land charges and building control (shared services)
- Anything else that is relevant to the service area operation
