Client Side Planning Manager

We are delighted to be representing a leading and award winning Housebuilder sourcing them a Planning Manager for their Hampshire office. Working as part of a mutually supportive Land and Planning team, the Planning Manager’s key responsibility will be to advise on and achieve optimum commercially viable and timely housing planning permissions, whilst monitoring the progress during the life cycle of the permission.

You will also liaise and advise both externally and internally on the discharge of planning conditions and manage all legal documentation relating to the planning and appeal process including Section 106 Agreements/UPS’s and all other legal matters as required. Candidates for this role will be considered from both the public and private sector.

What you will need;

• Degree qualification in planning or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years proven planning experience
• Organisational ability
• Superior written and verbal communication
• Sound judgement
• Analytical skills
• Detail-oriented, problem solver
• Comfortable working under pressure and with competing demands
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of technical and legal matters as part of the planning process

What we offer;

• fantastic salary - Circa £50,000 - £65,000
• working Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm. Genuine working week.
